I design, develop, and maintain new and existing Web sites and dynamic Web applications. In addition to programming, I assist faculty and graduate students with instructional media.

Accomplishments:
  • Using the Media Manager application at the university, I helpd create https://gmma.osu.edu/. I did the branding and themed the site.
  • I converted http://hti.osu.edu/ a large project dealing with instructional media from old code to being powered by the Dupal content management system.
  • I created The Humanities Atlas, a visual aggregator that identifies and maps news and activities in the humanities across the country.

2007 - 2009

I designed, developed, and maintained new and existing Web sites and dynamic Web applications. I worked with departments, groups, and individuals in all stages of Web projects. My primary responsibility was writing dynamic ColdFusion driven applications. An important aspect of this position was making our sites accessible for impaired users and adhering to validation and government standards. I built sites to be compatible with multiple browsers and platforms.

Accomplishments:
  • Wrote scripts to detect, report, and prevent SQL Injection attacks across all College sites
  • Wrote scripts to detect and report errors as soon as they occur, across all College sites
  • Helped establish ColdFusion components and OOP features of ColdFusion to produce applications and standard display pages for departmental events and scheduling
  • Co-implemented a custom lightweight ColdFusion MVC framework
